Gravel Creek Growth

Returning to our joint project with the Killarney Historical Society, the Bushcare Group was delighted to see our plantings thriving. This emboldened us to extend the plantings along the creek bank to improve stability and to increase its beauty. Throughout the morning, we were pleased to see tourists and Killarney locals stop and enjoy the greenery - and even the birds were checking it out for nesting sites.

This was also a great opportunity to check on which plant species thrive in these conditions. What we are learning through this project will help revegetate and beautify other areas.
